April Prayer

 Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the beginning of a new month. Thank you for blessing us to witness this month. Thank you for Your grace and continued favor that You have bestowed upon us. Thank You for Your mercies, which are new every morning. Your faithfulness is great. Help us, Lord God, to draw closer to You this month. Help us to seek Your face in prayer and in the study of Your word. Take complete control of us. Help us to live according to Your will. Please mold us into who You want us to be.  You are not finished with us yet. Thank you for Your patience toward us. God, please help us to meditate on Your word.

 Help us to meditate on Your promises. Please help us to focus on You regardless of our external circumstances. Help us to be still and know that You are God. Help us to be still and know that You are in control. Let every aspect of our lives be submissive to You. Lord, we surrender our plans to You. We surrender our ways to You. We surrender our desires to You. Let our will be lost in Yours. Help us to remember that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us. Help us not to shrink back in fear. Help us to be enraptured by Your perfect love.

Lord, thank you for Your great love for us. Thank you for the power of the cross. Thank You for the resurrection of Your Son. Thank You. Because of Jesus, we are more than conquerors. Thank You that we are not defeated. Rather, we are victorious. Help us to walk in victory. Help us to know our identity in Christ. Help us to be fully conscious of who we are in Him. May we know that we are beloved. May we know that we are a royal priesthood, a holy nation. May we know that we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

May this month bring a fresh realization of Who You are . Help us to abide in You. Help us to commune with You. Please let this month bring deeper intimacy with You, Father God. Help us to drink from Your living Water. Help us to be strong and courageous. Help us to seek Your Kingdom first and all its righteousness. Help us to be after Your heart. We want to do what pleases You, Lord God. Thank You for the doors that You have opened and the doors that You have closed. Thank You, God, that You see the end from the beginning. Thank You that your plans for us are good. Thank You for saving us. Thank You for setting us free from the bondage of sin. Thank You for holding on to us and protecting us from the evil one. Thank You for never giving up on us. Thank You for showering us with Your lovingkindness. We love You , Lord. We honor and exalt You. We give You the highest praise, for You are worthy of it all. Have Your own way in us.
