Prayer

 When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.

Dear God,

Thank You for Your great and enduring love. Thank You that Your love sees and knows us intimately. Thank You that your love comprehends us and accepts us through Christ.Thank you that Your love is strong and mighty, all-consuming, yet gentle. Thank you, God. I pray that we will know that we are loved, loved immeasurably, loved infinitely, by You, great and matchless King. I pray that we will know that we are loved. We are loved through our failures, loved through our shortcomings, loved through our inconsistencies. We are loved. How will we walk differently with that knowledge nestled in our hearts and minds like the precious treasure that it is? How will we go about this life? I pray that the knowledge of Your great love, God, will nourish and nurture us. I pray that we will bask in Your love like sunlight.LORD God, I pray that we will radiate Your great love to others. I pray that we will be confident in who You are. I pray that we will be confident in who You created us to be, recipients of Your everlasting love.

I pray, God, that Your love will anchor us in truth so that when the temptations come, we will not be persuaded or shaken. I pray that our memory will be submerged in Your love so that we will never forget that we are loved by You. Help us to live in love. Help us to walk in love, breathe in love, talk in love. I pray that we would bear Your love so that it would be evident that we belong to You. Please give us the strength to believe that You truly love us when we are going through the testing of this life. May we look around us and see your many blessings and give You thanks. You are love, God. Love is the essence of Your character. Please help us to draw near to You and grow deeper in love with You. Sanctify us with Your great love. Have Your own way in us. May we be marked by a hopeful and relentless surrender to You. Fill us with Your love.
