Love Letter

Dear Believer,

You are more than capable. I know it feels like this is beyond you, that your hands do not possess the experience to steward this mission, to make things grow. I want you to know that you are more than capable. It’s time to cease blocking yourself from your increase because of your disbelief that you are worthy.

 You may think that your eyes do not have the strength to behold this vision.  It’s too big, you say.   I can’t because… You dangle some flimsy excuse that you allow to bear weight and block you from planting. Don’t listen to fear. Just begin. Instability will only keep you stranded. Take one step forward. And then another. And then another.

You are crafted in the Imago Dei,  the image of God. He formed you with purpose and significance.   When you minimize your worth, you are refuting the immeasurable power by which you are created. Self-hatred is pride disguised as humility. For when you are consumed with yourself you become your very own god, worshiping yourself in your own distorted image.  There is no freedom in that.  We are created by a Creator to worship Him. When we operate in the manner for which we are created we live life with ultimate freedom and joy!

Choose to fix your eyes on Christ. In Him, you live and move and have your being. He balances every perspective. Pore over His Holy Love Letter. With Him, you can really see. Really see. Your worth is not constructed from the tongues of mere man, your relationship status, your possessions, your career. Your worth is found in Christ and it will never be taken away. You are thoroughly seen, known, and loved. You are safe in Him. Belonging is yours for the taking.

You are beautiful. Full of beauty and wonder. Nothing is lacking for you are enough in Christ’s strength within you. It all starts with Him.

You are a poem, a masterpiece written by the marvelous God who spoke the Universe into being,  whose words bring forth meaning, meaning that is alive! Every quirk, and eccentricity you possess provide tone, mood, and rhythm. Your talents, gifts, abilities, passions, desires, connections, experiences, are immensely valuable and needed. So use them!!!

 Be bold! You are salt and light. You flavor the earth and expose the darkness. You shine bright when you are aligned with God’s purpose.  There is a greater mission here and you are an integral part of it. You are a key entry of God’s great anthology of grace, faith hope, love. So shine bright!

Don’t go dim.  Despite how enticing it may seem, to disappear. We need you here.  There are flowers that only you can grow.  There is a harvest that only you can gather that will feed thousands.  You are more than capable.  You matter. You can do this.

Fear will come and pound on your heart’s gates. Insecurity will remind you of how you once failed. You will be tempted to shrink back, to stay stuck, stay silent, to compromise, to just give up. Your emotions will wane, and it would feel better to just quit.  You do not have to surrender. You do not have to agree with the whispers of fear, doubt, guilt, shame.  Know what God says about you.

 Have a scripture attack plan of verses that will encourage and remind you of God’s promises.  Obey God despite what you are feeling.  Thank Him for victory when you feel defeated. For you are not defeated.  You are victorious.  You are a new creation! God is on your side!

You do not operate by the world’s barometer. You operate by the truth of God’s Word

Confess the truth over your life continually. Especially when you do not feel like it. Remember who you are. Remember Who you belong to. Remember that He is a God that redeems.

 So be free and walk boldly in what God has for you.

Keep going.

Keep going.

It will be tough, but God is with you

His presence eliminates fear.

You are not hopeless.

You are not aimless.

Your hope is secure.

When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.  And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.  May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
